The TR3 was the successor to the Triumph TR2, which was built from 1953 to 1955. The Triumph TR3 was the first production car to be fitted with front disc brakes. Its 1991cc engine produced 100bhp, making it a true British sports car.
It is the epitome of the 60s, the swinging sixties… a roadster in its purest form that gives you immediate sensations at the wheel, the soft wind that caresses your face as you add up the miles, the raucous sound of its engine that is not there to make up the numbers, but also a completely different type of sensation, a bit as if it were also taking you back in time. What’s more, all the looks are friendly, and the number of thumbs up as you pass will soon convince you that you’ve made the right choice.
Its black colour, set off by its Cartier red interior, is a true British elegance.
The patina of its leather is of rare beauty.
Our in-depth inspection revealed no major faults, and for a car that was completely restored a few years ago, it has even exceeded our expectations.
It’s ready for new adventures, during which it’s sure to seduce you as it did us.
