It was in 1994 that the 964 was replaced by the 993. This represented a considerable evolution not only from a technological point of view, but also from an aesthetic point of view.
The front fenders of the 993 Carrera were wider and their line was flatter. Due to the shortened luggage compartment lid, the black rubber trim was removed, the latter being on the G model, as well as on the type 964, the junction point between the body and the front bumper.
The rear fenders were also wider in shape and stretched in a straighter line towards the rear with the taillights positioned higher.
The 993 was first available as Coupé and Cabriolet. In 1995 the all-wheel-drive versions Carrera 4 and 911 turbo with multi-disc viscous coupling were added, and from 1996/97 the Carrera 4S, as well as the Carrera S.
The Carrera and Targa models were powered by a new 3.6 liter engine with an output of 272 hp first, then 285 hp from MY 1996.
The model offered was purchased new in Germany, currently registered in Luxembourg, it has its up-to-date logbook with all the corresponding invoices.
It comes with its 1st paint in new condition with only 125,200 km.
The 993 is the last of the air-cooled Porsches, it is often considered the most perfect of the 911s.
