The 911 2.4S was made from 1972 to 1973. 1972 is the only production year with the oil filler cap located behind the righthand door. The 1972 model is considered the most desirable 911 with perfect handling. The 2.4 S produced 190bhp at 6500rpm with a compression ratio of 8.5:1 that gave it a projected top speed of 147mph, nearly equalling the performance of the infamous production homologation special, the legendary 1973 RS which was based on it. Only the displacement of 2.4 litres verses 2.7 and a different cam in the fuel injection pump separates the two models mechanically. Most 2.4S cars were fitted with the more comfortable Koni Sport shock absorbers as this car is.
The model presented was fully restored a few years ago, it retains a very good level of aesthetic and technical presentation.
An important file accompanies this car which is ready to accompany you for a short Sunday stroll as on the roads of a tourist rally of several thousand kilometers.
