The Ferrari 550 Maranello, first presented in 1996, embodies the elegance and performance that characterize the Italian marque. A true homage to the great Ferrari classics, this grand tourer marks a return to its roots with its front-mounted V12 engine, a layout the brand hasn’t used for its GTs since the Daytona of the 1970s. The 5.5-liter engine delivers 485 horsepower, enabling the 550 Maranello to reach a top speed of 320 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. The design of the 550 Maranello, by Pininfarina, combines elegance and aerodynamics, with flowing lines and a refined silhouette. The interior, luxurious and sporty, offers remarkable comfort for long journeys, while maintaining a racing spirit with noble materials and meticulous finishes.
The 550 Maranello is also distinguished by its aluminum chassis, which offers both lightness and rigidity, as well as an independent suspension that guarantees exceptional roadholding. A true masterpiece of engineering, this Ferrari marked its era by its ability to combine the performance of a supercar with the comfort of a GT. In short, the Ferrari 550 Maranello remains an automotive icon, celebrated as much for its heritage as for its enduring influence on the world of sports cars.
This 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello has belonged to the same owner since 2003. In its original paint, the car presents itself in beautiful exterior condition. The lightly patinated black leather interior shows no tears. Still maintained at the Winandy Frères garage, it has just over 56,000 kilometers on the clock. The timing belts were replaced in February 2024. The car starts normally and revs up is a real pleasure. It will take you far, fast and comfortably. Owned by a meticulous man, it still has many fine days ahead of it, with you on board.
