Replacing the 365 GT 2+2, the 365 GTC/4 was only produced in 1971 and 1972. Its chassis was almost identical to that of the Daytona, but lengthened by 10 cm to accommodate two small rear seats. It benefited from specifications giving it better comfort than the Daytona, such as softer suspension springs and power steering. The V12 engine was similar to that of the Daytona, but with power reduced to 340 hp to present a personality more suited to a true GT. The vertical-to-lateral carburetor transition allowed for a lower hood line, and the gearbox was mounted directly to the engine instead of the rear axle as on the Daytona. Replaced fairly quickly by the 365 GT/4 2+2, it only had a fairly limited production run, of 505 examples, which makes it a rare car.
The model presented dates from 1972 and was delivered by M.G Crepaldi Automobili in Milan, Italy. It remains in its original configuration: Blu Ribot 2.442.631 Italvert with a Pelle Nera Cogolo interior.
The engine and differential are original, with only the gearbox having been replaced, as is often the case, a few years ago.
Nevertheless, it is certified by Ferrari Classiche and comes with its invaluable red binder.
It is also matching colours, a model that has always remained original, showing a low mileage of less than 84,000 km.
The 365 GTC/4 is a model very close to the famous Daytona at an affordable price for a Ferrari powered by the Mythical 60° V12 of 4,390 cm developing 340 hp.
Made in only 505 examples, the 365 GTC/4 is a rare car offering many advantages: 4 seats, a legendary and very powerful V12, a timeless 70s design and undeniable Italian class.
Let yourself be seduced by this worthy representative of Ferrari with a V12 engine.
