The Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 was a 2+2 coupé produced by Ferrari from 1964 to 1967.
It succeeded the Ferrari 250 GTE, which demonstrated the existence of a market for this type of car. While the latter had already made its mark on Ferrari history by producing an unusually high number of examples – over 900 – the 330 GT went one better, with 1,088 examples produced.
Designed by the famous Turin coachbuilder Pininfarina, long associated with Ferrari, the bow and stern of the 330 GT 2+2 were particularly innovative, especially the four-headlamp front light units.
This Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 was sold new in the United States by Luigi Chinetti Motors in 1965. Its owner, Jerry Curtis, kept it until 1989 and then sold it via Auto toy store in Florida in 1990, by which time it had changed colour to blue with a red interior and had only covered 43,000 miles.
Bought in 1990 by an Austrian, he kept it until 2008, when it became the property of the Manro-Classic Auto & Musik museum in Austria, at which time it was red with a burgundy interior and its engine was listed as non-rotating.
It was then offered for sale at Auto & moto d’Epoca in Padova by the Galerie des Damiers.
It was restored in 2013 to its original Bianco 18934 Italver configuration with a pelle rossa interior as stated on the Ferrari certificate of authenticity.
It was offered for sale by FA Automobiles in 2014 and then in 2016 to its current owner, at which point it had just 43,978 miles.
Always kept in optimum condition, it has just undergone a complete overhaul so that it can be delivered at no extra cost.
Accompanied by its Ferrari certificate attesting to its factory specifications and its current configuration.
Matching numbers and colours, it’s waiting for you to experience the dolce vita to the bewitching sound of its V12.
